News Release Summary:  Mobile phone sales to end users WW totaled 417 million units in the third quarter of 2010. Nokia sales were lower than expected a market share decline of 8.5%. RIM's share of the smartphone market fell. Gartner estimates Android phones accounted for 75 to 80 percent of Verizon's smartphone trade. Apple performed extremely well thanks to the iPhone 4. Relationships with multiple CSPs gave Apple wider channel reach internationally, and iTunes and the App Store continued to help Apple dominate.
