Looking at the demand for Apple’s pervious launch, iPhone 4, dealers filled their stores with new iPad inventory; however, according to the surveillance, many consumers could not find a valid reason to part with their money against this iPad.

Our reporters visited a few stores on Friday and confirmed that buyers eagerly sought reasons to buy new iPad. Except the high screen resolutions screen, consumers saw wide similarity between the new device and its predecessor. “Deep down some consumers really don’t know why they want to buy the newest iPad”, a source confirmed.

Our informants thoroughly gauged consumers’ level of interest in the iPad 3. Although Apple staff was quick to rattle off iPad 3 features such as 4G, better camera, dictation and the, most coveted, Retina display,  users failed to view a critical reason that would persuade them to buy the device.

Majority of consumers did not seem tech savvy, for they would not spend bucks against the notion of retina display, quad-core graphics or LTE vs. HSPA+. Some buyers saw 4G as an important factor, but 4G alone could not attract a large consumer base.

Some buyers apparently bought the device impulsively; while others had a vague idea about the new cool tech. However, we must say that its glorious, pixel-packing, eye-popping and mesmerizing screen gave little time to users to reconsider their choice.
