SGS has always been committed to providing its customers with the best in both its services and its resources. To that end, major new developments have been made at its Electrical, Electronics and Wireless facilities in the US.

The SGS Electrical and Electronics safety laboratory in Atlanta has long served its customers faithfully - but now it can do so with the very latest in testing equipment. The state of the art equipment that has been furnished at the lab will enable accurate testing utilizing newest techniques. The facilities employ solutions for all E&E markets including those covering medical devices, entertainment electronics, office equipment, hazardous location equipment, household appliances, lighting products and power cords.

In addition, the San Diego Wireless Laboratory has undergone a vast expansion of its capabilities, including the addition of GSM and WCDMA technologies. SGS now therefore has the first wireless laboratory (http://www.ee.sgs.com/wireless-us-testing-systems.htm) to be able to provide certification test coverage and services for all major cellular technologies, and all under one roof.

The technologies covered by the San Diego lab include CDMA, EVDO, GSM, GPRS, WCDMA, and LTE and now with PTCRB and GCF certification testing, SGS has laid down the gauntlet to its competitors. The services provided also include CDMA/EVDO test programs for CCF Certification, CTIA Certification, Carrier Safe for Network, CDG and Stage 1.
